OneSix is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Business Intelligence, to design and deliver scalable data-driven solutions for enterprise clients. This mission-critical role combines technical leadership, BI strategy development, and client collaboration. The Senior Lead Engineer will architect modern data platforms, optimize analytics workflows, and mentor engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery and long-term impact.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive BI strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead and mentor BI engineers, providing technical direction and guidance
- Design and optimize scalable data models, architectures, and ETL pipelines
- Develop enterprise dashboards and self-service BI solutions using modern BI tools
- Manage cloud-based data platforms such as AWS and Snowflake
- Establish best practices for data governance, security, performance, and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in business intelligence or data engineering
- Expert-level SQL proficiency and strong experience in data modeling and ETL
- Extensive experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure) and warehousing solutions
- Programming experience in Python, R, or similar scripting languages
