Developer Lead (Full-Stack)

xpate is an all-in-one money management platform supporting businesses, fintechs, and regulated industries with seamless global payment solutions. The Developer Lead (Full-Stack) will drive end-to-end feature delivery across AWS serverless infrastructure and full-stack systems, optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability. This role focuses on hands-on leadership, system architecture, payment integrations, and engineering quality within a fast-moving fintech environment.

Xpate is seeking a Developer Lead (Full-Stack) to take full ownership of technical delivery across its global payment platform. This hands-on leadership role requires designing, building, and shipping high-impact features with speed and accountability. The position focuses on event-driven serverless architectures, payment integrations, and continuous improvement of performance, stability, and engineering quality.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement event-driven, serverless workflows using AWS Lambda-first architecture
- Integrate with banking rails, acquiring systems, and external payment providers
- Optimize system performance for cost efficiency, lower latency, and higher reliability
- Reduce technical debt while improving observability, stability, and security
- Contribute across the full stack using Node.js, TypeScript, DynamoDB, Aurora, and frontend technologies
- Lead end-to-end execution from architecture and implementation to release and monitoring

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a Lead Engineer or high-ownership technical role
- Strong backend and frontend expertise with full-stack system design capability
- Deep production experience with AWS serverless infrastructure
- Experience integrating complex financial or payment systems
- Strong decision-making skills and ownership mindset
- Professional fluency in English
