Full-Stack Tech Lead (Remote, Contract)

The Full-Stack Tech Lead will define architecture, deliver end-to-end features, and strengthen reliability, security, and CI/CD practices while mentoring engineers and driving engineering standards across backend and frontend systems in a production AWS environment.

INFUSE is seeking a Full-Stack Tech Lead (Contract) to take ownership of architecture, delivery, and engineering standards across backend and frontend systems. This is a build-and-lead-by-doing role focused on designing pragmatic, scalable solutions while improving reliability, observability, and security. The Tech Lead will work hands-on in production environments, mentor engineers, and ensure consistent delivery across distributed teams.  

Responsibilities:  
- Define and implement architecture decisions with a focus on scalability and simplicity.  
- Harden CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized deployments to AWS environments.  
- Improve system observability using monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.  
- Optimize performance across databases, APIs, caching layers, and queues.  
- Drive engineering quality through code reviews, standards, and release processes.  
- Mentor frontend and backend engineers while aligning technical scope with stakeholders.  

Requirements:  
- Strong production experience with .NET backend systems and Python frameworks.  
- Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, Redis, and API design using OpenAPI 3.  
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, AWS, and monitoring tools.  
- Solid understanding of authentication, RBAC, and security best practices.  
- Experience with event-driven architectures and queue-based systems.  
- Minimum 3 years building production systems and 2 years in a lead role.
