Verto is seeking a Sales Director to lead its expansion and revenue growth initiatives in South Africa. This strategic leadership role combines market entry planning, direct revenue responsibility, and team management to accelerate adoption of Verto’s cross-border payment and FX solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to expand Verto’s presence in South Africa.
- Drive and exceed sales targets by leading business development initiatives and managing personal and team quotas.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and industry associations.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team aligned with company objectives.
- Oversee CRM systems, sales processes, and reporting tools to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with South African financial regulations and internal risk management standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of B2B sales experience within fintech or financial services.
- At least 3 years of experience focused on the South African market.
- Established network within South African financial and business sectors.
- Strong understanding of local regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
