ISTA Personnel Solutions is seeking a Financial Reporting & Automation Specialist to support U.S.-based clients with structured, accurate financial reporting. This fully remote role operates during EST business hours and focuses on maintaining and enhancing Excel-based reporting models. The position plays a key role in improving reporting efficiency, reducing manual processes, and ensuring consistent financial data integrity across recurring reporting cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Work with financial data exports from systems such as QuickBooks Online.
- Maintain and improve Excel-based financial reporting templates and models.
- Prepare and update monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports.
- Ensure formula accuracy, stable link structures, and consistent reporting logic.
- Manage GL code mappings and account structure updates.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual reporting effort.
Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and structured modeling.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, GL structures, and reporting logic.
- Experience handling exported system data such as CSV and Excel files.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to data accuracy.
- Reliable fixed fibre internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps) and wired Ethernet capability.
- Reliable power backup solution to manage outages.
