A growing pharmaceutical and healthcare organization is seeking a Medical / Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to manage and develop its KwaZulu-Natal territory. This independent contractor role is field-based and focuses on promoting ethical, high-quality medical products to healthcare professionals. The position requires strong relationship-building skills, consistent sales performance, and strict adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and clinics.
- Develop and execute territory plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key healthcare decision-makers.
- Provide accurate, compliant product information and clinical education.
- Identify new business opportunities to expand market share within the region.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics and pharmaceutical sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel regularly within KwaZulu-Natal.
