Job Description

 

Surgo (Pty) Ltd is seeking a UK/English-speaking Sales Development Representative to support a leading Sales-as-a-Service outsourcing provider. This fully remote role is responsible for driving outbound sales efforts, generating qualified leads, and strengthening business development initiatives. The position plays a key role in expanding market reach and contributing to scalable revenue growth within the SaaS sector.  


Responsibilities:  
- Identify and develop prospective clients through structured prospecting and lead qualification.  
- Execute outbound sales campaigns via phone, email, and social media channels.  
- Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and position tailored solutions.  
- Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth lead handover and conversion.  
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and sales activity data.  
- Monitor market trends and competitors to refine sales strategies and performance.  


Requirements:  
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales Development, preferably in the SaaS industry.  
- Proven ability to generate new business and consistently exceed sales targets.  
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
- Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tools.  
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and prioritization skills.  
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
