Senior Product Manager

The Senior Product Manager leads global payment integrations, driving strategy and execution for local alternative payment methods, bank transfers, and regional payout flows. This role focuses on regulated markets, PSP partnerships, product expansion, and optimizing payment performance across high-growth regions.

Mercuryo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the expansion of global payment integrations across high-growth markets. This role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of local payment methods, including alternative payment methods (APMs), ACH, regional bank transfers, and payout flows. The position requires navigating complex regulatory environments while ensuring operational resilience, compliance, and optimized transaction performance.  

Responsibilities:  
- Own the full product lifecycle for local payment integrations from discovery through optimization.  
- Lead integrations with ACH, regional APMs, and bank transfer solutions across African and Asian markets.  
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, risk, operations, and commercial teams to ensure compliant delivery.  
- Analyze market trends, user behavior, and competitive dynamics to prioritize product initiatives.  
- Build and maintain relationships with PSPs, banks, and regional payment providers.  
- Define product metrics and optimize for acceptance rate, cost efficiency, and user experience.  

Requirements:  
- 5+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, crypto, or related financial products.  
- Proven track record delivering payment solutions in regulated, high-engagement environments.  
- Experience working with PSPs, processors, and regional banking partners.  
- Strong understanding of risk policies and compliance frameworks affecting transaction flows.  
- Ability to translate complex payment processes into structured product requirements.  
- Strong analytical, technical, and cross-functional communication skills.
