Index is seeking a Middle/Senior React Developer (part-time) to build and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly web applications using React and Next.js. This role focuses on frontend excellence, performance optimization, and analytics reliability, while offering exposure to backend technologies as part of long-term professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain React and Next.js components, pages, and application logic.
- Implement responsive, accessible, and SEO-optimized user interfaces.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals through performance improvements such as code splitting and lazy loading.
- Implement and manage SEO best practices including metadata, schema markup, sitemaps, and robots.txt.
- Configure and maintain Google Tag Manager and analytics integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend quality standards.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Solid hands-on experience with React and Next.js frameworks.
- Experience with technical SEO principles and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and modern frontend styling approaches.
- Experience with unit testing using Jest.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
