WBP is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to serve as the visual and verbal engine of its digital presence. This contract role focuses on producing compelling short-form video and persuasive copy that translates complex civic issues into accessible, engaging content aligned with cross-partisan values.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and edit two to four short-form videos per week optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and Shorts.
- Write captions, scripts, and on-screen text that maintain a cross-partisan and inclusive tone.
- Design branded carousels and static posts using Canva to ensure visual consistency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content with major campaigns and civic initiatives.
- Manage content delivery through a shared social media calendar.
- Monitor analytics and social trends to optimize reach and engagement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in professional video editing using tools such as Premiere, Final Cut, or CapCut.
- Strong social media copywriting skills with a persuasive, accessible voice.
- Passion for civic engagement and ability to translate complex topics into engaging content.
- Sensitivity to cross-partisan and faith-based audiences.
- Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment.
