Goodway Group is seeking a Channel Director – Search to lead paid search excellence across its Brand & Commerce line of business. This senior, player–coach leadership role combines hands-on SEM expertise with strategic oversight, team development, and innovation in AI-driven search practices.
Responsibilities:
- Own paid search activation across Google Ads and Microsoft/Bing Ads, ensuring performance, compliance, and enterprise standards.
- Lead execution for select high-profile clients, providing strategic oversight and hands-on platform expertise.
- Ensure quality and consistency of paid search plans, strategies, and deliverables.
- Mentor and develop Search Managers and Coordinators, fostering accountability and performance excellence.
- Drive experimentation with agentic AI tools and develop scalable Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies.
- Partner with client strategy, analytics, and enterprise search leadership to align activation, governance, and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in paid search or performance media with leadership responsibility.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft/Bing Ads, including bidding, automation, and measurement.
- Proven success leading and developing high-performing search teams.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and client-facing communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of evolving search ecosystems, AI-driven discovery, and GEO practices.
