xpate is seeking a Developer Lead (Full-Stack) to take full ownership of engineering delivery across its global payments platform. This highly hands-on role focuses on designing, building, and shipping scalable systems with speed, accountability, and technical excellence, ensuring predictable, high-quality execution across the stack.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement event-driven, serverless workflows using a Lambda-first AWS architecture.
- Integrate acquiring and banking rails, external payment providers, and internal systems.
- Optimize infrastructure for lower cost, reduced latency, improved stability, and faster releases.
- Reduce technical debt while enhancing reliability, observability, and security.
- Contribute across the full stack, including Node.js, TypeScript, DynamoDB, Aurora, and frontend applications.
- Lead end-to-end execution from architecture and implementation through release, monitoring, and iteration.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Lead Engineer or similar high-ownership technical role.
- Strong backend and frontend expertise with experience shipping complex production systems.
- Deep production-grade AWS serverless experience with strong system design capabilities.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate development and improve engineering outcomes.
- Ability to design clean, maintainable architectures for complex integrations.
- Clear decision-making skills, ownership mindset, and fluency in English.
