Senior Software Engineer: Platform

LogicGate is a global leader in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions, delivering its Risk Cloud platform to help enterprises manage risk and compliance at scale. The Senior Software Engineer: Platform leads architectural design and feature development for the Risk Cloud platform, driving scalable back-end solutions, improving engineering best practices, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver secure, high-performance cloud-based applications.

LogicGate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer: Platform to architect, develop, and enhance core capabilities within its Risk Cloud platform. This role combines hands-on development with architectural leadership, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions that align with business and engineering objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop platform features using Spring Boot, Java, and related back-end technologies.
- Write automated tests, review code, and promote a testing-first engineering culture.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and engineers using Agile methodologies.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and system reliability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and documentation for platform enhancements.
- Support CI/CD improvements and infrastructure-as-code best practices.

Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong expertise in modern back-end frameworks and web application development.
- Experience working across the software stack in cloud-based environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
- Strong communication skills and ability to document features and processes clearly.
