Teaching Assistant: Machine Learning Data Associate

Correlation One is a workforce development company that partners with enterprises and governments to deliver free, virtual training programs focused on data and AI skills. The Teaching Assistant will support learners in a machine learning and data annotation program, providing bilingual technical guidance in German and English, grading assignments, facilitating live sessions, and ensuring learner success in a structured virtual environment.

Correlation One is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support its Machine Learning Data Associate program. This contract role involves assisting approximately 25–30 learners in a virtual training environment, ensuring comprehension of machine learning concepts, generative AI foundations, and data annotation workflows. The Teaching Assistant will provide both synchronous and asynchronous support in German and English while contributing to a collaborative, learner-centered environment.

Responsibilities:
- Attend mandatory onboarding and actively participate in live virtual sessions.
- Monitor Slack channels and respond to learner questions promptly.
- Facilitate breakout rooms and support live instruction when needed.
- Hold up to six individual office hours via Zoom for additional learner support.
- Grade exercises and projects within seven days of submission.
- Submit weekly reports summarizing learner progress and program insights.

Requirements:
- Professional fluency in both German and English.
- Foundational knowledge of machine learning, generative AI, and data annotation processes.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in data labeling or quality assurance workflows.
- Active AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification.
- Experience providing academic or technical support in virtual settings.
- Strong written communication skills and proficiency with spreadsheet tools.

This remote position runs from May 4, 2026 through September 23, 2026, with live sessions twice weekly aligned to EST hours.
