Finance Automation Specialist

GR8 Tech is a global iGaming platform providing scalable technology and operational support. The Finance Automation Specialist will optimize finance operations by automating processes, building data solutions, and supporting ERP systems. This role focuses on increasing efficiency in reporting, reconciliation, and workflow management while providing technical support and training to Finance and Accounting teams.

GR8 Tech is seeking a Finance Automation Specialist to enhance finance operations through process optimization, automation, and technical support. The role focuses on streamlining workflows, integrating data sources, and building automation solutions that enable Finance and Accounting teams to operate efficiently in a remote-first, tech-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing finance and accounting processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
- Map current processes and design optimized future-state workflows.
- Develop automation solutions using Google Sheets and Google Apps Script to improve data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Integrate multiple data sources into automated reports and dashboards.
- Use SQL, including Google BigQuery, to query, transform, and manage financial data.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance to ensure reliable data flow across systems.
- Provide hands-on support, training, and documentation for Finance and Accounting teams.

Requirements:
- Expert proficiency in Google Sheets including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
- Strong experience with Google Apps Script for workflow automation.
- Solid experience with SQL for complex queries and reporting.
- Understanding of accounting principles, finance processes, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
