The Team Lead, Clinical Operations (Management Consultation) will oversee clinical and operational workflows, support escalated cases, and guide a team of licensed clinicians while ensuring service quality, SLA performance, and strong collaboration across clinical and operational stakeholders.

Job Description

 

Spring Health is seeking a Team Lead, Clinical Operations (Management Consultation) to support the delivery of high-quality mental health services through a balance of clinical expertise and operational leadership. This role is designed for independently licensed mental health professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about improving access to effective mental healthcare. The Team Lead partners closely with Clinical Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure excellent member experiences, operational efficiency, and clinical quality.


Responsibilities:
- Maintain an active caseload or queue for approximately 50% of working time.
- Serve as a subject matter expert supporting escalated, high-touch, and crisis situations.
- Oversee daily team operations, including documentation review and workflow quality checks.
- Provide real-time clinical and technical consultation on complex cases.
- Coordinate daily queue management, case assignments, and SLA adherence.
- Support onboarding, training, workflow updates, and team development initiatives.


Requirements:
- Independent licensure required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LICSW, or equivalent).
- 3+ years of EAP experience and 1+ year of management consultation experience.
- Strong knowledge of substance use disorders and levels of care.
- Excellent verbal and written professional communication skills.
- Comfort navigating clinical systems, workflows, and new technologies.
- Leadership experience and collaborative, solution-oriented approach preferred.
