Solution Engineer

RelationalAI is an enterprise AI company building decision intelligence systems using relational knowledge graphs and neuro-symbolic reasoning. The Solution Engineer role partners with customers to design and implement data-driven decision applications, translating complex operational challenges into executable models and becoming a trusted technical advisor across analytics, AI, and enterprise technology solutions.

RelationalAI is seeking a Solution Engineer to bridge the gap between enterprise customers and advanced AI decision intelligence systems. This hands-on role combines architecture, engineering, and consulting to deliver end-to-end data-driven solutions that leverage RelationalAI’s reasoning platform.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement decision solutions using RelationalAI’s modeling, reasoning, and learning capabilities.
- Lead technical discovery and design workshops with customers, translating complex business problems into actionable models and proofs-of-concept.
- Own end-to-end delivery, from scoping and implementation to optimization and success metrics.
- Collaborate across teams including Product, Engineering, and GTM to ensure customer insights inform roadmap development.
- Educate and enable customer teams by creating reusable assets, conducting training, and mentoring peers in modeling best practices.
- Drive technical excellence by identifying performance bottlenecks, improving scalability, and ensuring production-grade reliability.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering or technical consulting experience.
- 3+ years in solution engineering, pre-sales, or data application delivery roles.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Programming or scripting experience (Python, Julia, Shell, etc.) for integrations and prototypes.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Comfort operating in high-autonomy, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building analytical, decision, or reasoning applications in production.
- Familiarity with rule-based, optimization, or predictive systems.
- Understanding of semantic modeling, data pipelines, and governance best practices.
- Prior experience in enterprise technology, AI, or analytics platforms.
