Ahrefs is seeking a proactive and experienced DACH Marketing Manager to spearhead our marketing initiatives in the German-speaking market. This role is pivotal in establishing Ahrefs’ presence, driving lead generation, and educating the local audience on SEO and AI-driven marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Ahrefs’ marketing efforts in the DACH region, taking ownership of the full marketing mix.
- Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and lead generation.
- Create and localize content, including blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and other digital assets.
- Manage German-related marketing activities including content creation, events, partnerships, and public relations.
- Educate the German market on SEO/AI Search/AI Marketing best practices to position Ahrefs as a thought leader.
- Organize and participate in key marketing events, conferences, and meetups to build relationships and generate leads.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to optimize marketing initiatives.
- Report marketing performance to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of marketing leadership experience, preferably in technology or SaaS, with a focus on localization for German-speaking audiences.
- Experience creating promotional materials and organizing local events or meetups.
- Strong knowledge of Ahrefs products and their application in the German market.
- SEO experience is a significant plus.
- Proven track record of executing successful marketing strategies in the DACH market.
- Ability to deliver quick wins, optimize strategies, and manage long-term plans independently.
- Excellent content creation and digital marketing skills.
- Native German speaker with fluent English, strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
