UX Designer

Arize AI is a Series C company building an AI & Agent Engineering observability platform for enterprise teams. This UX Designer role focuses on refining complex tools into intuitive, polished user experiences. The position emphasizes user research, prototyping, and interaction design, working closely with engineering teams to create seamless, delightful interfaces for AI engineers in a fully remote, highly collaborative environment.

Arize AI is seeking a UX Designer to enhance the usability and experience of its AI & Agent Engineering observability platform. This role combines user research, interaction design, and collaboration with engineering to refine complex B2B SaaS tools into intuitive and polished experiences. The designer will focus on usability, accessibility, and crafting interfaces that delight users while supporting AI engineer workflows.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and identify pain points in product workflows.
- Prototype and iterate on interaction alternatives using Figma or code.
- Design, refine, and implement UX flows, interaction patterns, and reusable components.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate design improvements into the product.
- Run usability tests to validate solutions and gather feedback.
- Build interaction patterns and guidance for consistent, high-quality experiences.
- Observe and analyze user sessions to identify friction points and areas for improvement.

Requirements:
- Experience improving products through interaction refinement and design systems.
- Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools.
- Understanding of complex tools such as dev tools, data platforms, or B2B SaaS products.
- Ability to consider edge cases, loading states, and empty states in design.
- Experience contributing to design systems and animation libraries.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
