Business Analyst

xpate is an all-in-one money management platform serving businesses, fintechs, and regulated industries worldwide. As a Business Analyst, you will own critical user-facing systems across onboarding, client portals, and internal operations. The role focuses on deep user understanding, workflow redesign, and automation to reduce friction, improve compliance-driven experiences, and eliminate manual processes across interconnected B2B financial systems.

xpate is building a future-proof financial and compliance ecosystem that enables businesses to move money seamlessly across borders. As a Business Analyst, you will take ownership of core user-facing and internal systems, acting as a deep domain expert who designs solutions that balance user experience, automation, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to uncover explicit and hidden pain points across onboarding, client portals, and operations.
- Own and map the end-to-end B2B onboarding journey, including user flows, wireframes, and specifications.
- Design and optimize client portal workflows to increase self-service and reduce support dependency.
- Build internal operations portal workflows, dashboards, and efficiency tools for operational teams.
- Identify and design automation and AI-driven solutions to eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
- Define success metrics, analyze behavior, and iterate workflows based on data insights.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in B2B fintech or payments.
- Strong domain expertise in onboarding, compliance, identity verification, and payment flows.
- Proven ability to create wireframes, user flows, and detailed process documentation.
- Hands-on experience with design tools, analytics platforms, automation tools, and AI assistants.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to challenge requirements and propose better solutions.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and translating complexity into actionable plans.
