G2i collaborates with top AI labs and technical founders to build tools, dashboards, and environments that power the front lines of artificial intelligence development. As a Design Engineer, you will turn complex AI systems into usable, high-quality interfaces, creating experiences that are clean, performant, and designed for engineers in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build and document UI components using React, Shadcn, and Tailwind CSS.
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma files into pixel-perfect, production-ready code.
- Implement and maintain design systems using Storybook and Chromatic.
- Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and high performance across front-end interfaces.
- Contribute to front-end standards and best practices across internal and client projects.
- Iterate quickly and adapt to evolving product requirements in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of front-end or design engineering experience.
- Mastery of React, Shadcn, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems and UI libraries.
- Solid understanding of accessibility, component-driven architecture, and front-end performance.
- Recent startup experience, comfortable with rapid iteration and ambiguity.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in remote teams.
