Workday HCM Senior Principal Consultant (Global Delivery Center)

The Workday HCM Senior Principal Consultant role provides expert leadership across complex HCM implementations, acting as a bridge between business and technical teams while driving delivery excellence, mentoring consultants, and ensuring successful outcomes across multiple client engagements.

Cognizant’s Workday Practice is seeking a Workday HCM Senior Principal Consultant to support large-scale global implementations from its Global Delivery Center. This role serves as a senior delivery leader, guiding clients through transformation, implementation, and operational phases while solving complex intersystem challenges and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Drive tactical direction and decision-making for assigned project workstreams.
- Identify dependencies and manage coordination across multiple project workstreams.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee consultants to ensure delivery quality and consistency.
- Serve as a primary resource for deliverable development, review, and approval.
- Evaluate customer objectives to design effective Workday HCM solutions.
- Support and lead initiatives to strengthen HCM project delivery practices.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Workday HCM consulting experience.
- Active Workday HCM Core certification.
- Experience acting as technical lead for at least one phase-1 implementation.
- Exposure to additional Workday modules such as Compensation, Recruiting, or Benefits.
- Strong ability to manage risk, stakeholders, and multiple initiatives concurrently.
