Financial Data Analyst

orilla Commerce is a fast-growing U.S.-based e-commerce company and a Top 10 Amazon U.S. seller, known for its flagship Gorilla Grip brand and data-driven product development. The Financial Data Analyst role supports the Finance organization by transforming complex financial and operational data into actionable insights. This position focuses on automation, reporting, and analytical support to improve decision-making, scalability, and financial visibility across channels.

Gorilla Commerce is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to support the Director of Finance and the broader Finance and Accounting teams. This role focuses on managing large datasets, automating reporting processes, and delivering clear financial and operational insights that support a rapidly scaling e-commerce business. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:
- Build, streamline, and automate recurring financial data models and reporting workflows.
- Own and manage large financial and operational datasets from systems such as NetSuite and marketplaces.
- Develop advanced Excel models and BI dashboards to track performance metrics.
- Support month-end and quarter-end reporting through structured and reconciled data extracts.
- Perform variance and profitability analysis across SKUs, channels, and cost drivers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve data integrity and upstream processes.

Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, finance, or accounting support roles.
- Strong Excel-based financial modeling skills; coding or automation experience is a plus.
- Experience working with large datasets and tools such as NetSuite, Power BI, or SQL.
- Solid understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Proven ability to analyze messy datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
