The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email campaigns that drive engagement, nurture leads, and increase conversions. This role owns the full email lifecycle, from segmentation and automation through deliverability, testing, and reporting. Working remotely with U.S.-based stakeholders, the specialist ensures email remains a reliable, high-performing marketing channel.
Responsibilities:
- Build and launch email campaigns using platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, or Mailchimp.
- Write engaging subject lines, body copy, and calls-to-action tailored to audience segments.
- Design and edit responsive email templates using HTML and CSS as needed.
- Segment and manage large contact databases to improve targeting and relevance.
- Build automated workflows including drip campaigns and behavioral triggers.
- Monitor deliverability, compliance, and sender reputation while optimizing performance.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional email marketing experience.
- Proficiency with at least one major email service provider.
- Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of audience segmentation, automation, and list hygiene.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email templates.
