The German Translator – Freelance AI Trainer supports the development of next-generation language models by reviewing and improving AI-generated translations between German and English. This role focuses on ensuring grammatical accuracy, fluency, cultural appropriateness, and contextual sensitivity across a wide range of real-world scenarios. Working remotely as a contractor, the translator provides high-quality feedback that directly improves AI translation performance.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and edit AI-generated translations between German and English in both directions.
- Identify and annotate grammatical, semantic, stylistic, and cultural issues.
- Provide clear explanations for translation choices and suggested improvements.
- Challenge models with idiomatic expressions, ambiguous phrasing, and varied registers.
- Document model errors and recurring issues to improve translation consistency.

Requirements:
