The Client Finance Analyst supports marketing programs by owning financial management from budgeting through reporting and compliance. This role partners closely with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and alignment with program goals while managing budgets, reporting, and operational finance in a fast-paced agency setting.

Job Description

 

The Client Finance Analyst plays a key role in supporting GMR’s experiential marketing programs by managing financial operations from budgeting through reporting and compliance. Reporting to the Program Finance Manager, this role takes independent ownership of assigned programs, ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and alignment with client agreements and internal controls. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and support teams to help programs run smoothly and efficiently.


Responsibilities:
- Independently manage program budgets, forecasts, and actuals to ensure alignment with approved plans
- Partner with marketing teams to assess financial impact of program changes and updates
- Prepare client-requested financial reports, scenarios, and analyses
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting including variance analysis, reforecasts, and accruals
- Review client billings, vendor invoices, contracts, and purchase orders for compliance and accuracy
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cash management activities and maintain asset tracking


Requirements:
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or program finance within an agency or fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and financial accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously
- Experience preparing financial reports and variance analyses
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization, ownership, and discretion handling financial information
