Job Description

 

Medneo UK is seeking a Commercial Lead - Community Diagnostics and Screening to drive long-term, system-level diagnostic partnerships across the NHS. This senior, outward-facing role focuses on securing multi-year revenue opportunities within Community Diagnostic Centres and population screening programmes while positioning medneo as a trusted, strategic diagnostic partner. The role requires deep understanding of NHS structures, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to influence senior decision-makers across complex healthcare systems.


Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and secure multi-year partnerships across Community Diagnostic Centres and screening programmes.
- Lead strategic engagement with NHS Trust Executives, Divisional Leaders, and Integrated Care Board stakeholders.
- Convert short-term service arrangements into long-term diagnostic partnerships aligned with system priorities.
- Develop and present business cases, financial models, and partnership proposals for Trust and ICB approval.
- Own the end-to-end commercial pipeline from opportunity identification through contract execution.
- Represent the organization in senior NHS forums, system meetings, and industry events.


Requirements:
- Proven experience negotiating with senior NHS stakeholders, including ICB-level decision-makers.
- Strong track record securing long-term partnerships within NHS diagnostics, community services, or screening.
- In-depth understanding of NHS diagnostics pathways, commissioning processes, and governance structures.
- Excellent commercial, financial, and contract negotiation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management capabilities.
