Job Description

 

Edged US is seeking an EHS Business Continuity Lead to support the Environmental Health and Safety Manager and strengthen operational resilience across its growing portfolio of data centers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring preparedness for disruptive events, including safety incidents, environmental events, infrastructure failures, and natural disasters. The position collaborates closely with operations, facilities, IT, security, and leadership teams to embed practical and effective continuity planning into daily operations.


Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity plans and operational resilience strategies for data center operations.
- Conduct business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify critical functions and recovery priorities.
- Support emergency response, crisis management, and disaster recovery planning in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Integrate business continuity planning with environmental, health, safety, and emergency preparedness programs.
- Support and participate in emergency drills, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews.
- Assist with EHS program implementation, coaching, training, and best practice adoption across sites.


Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in business continuity, emergency management, EHS, or risk management roles.
- Experience developing or supporting business continuity and emergency preparedness programs.
- Strong understanding of EHS principles, safety management systems, and regulatory considerations.
- Proven project management, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to train and influence diverse teams.
