As a Business Development Representative (SMB), you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential small and medium-sized business clients through outbound prospecting activities such as cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other creative channels. You will research target accounts, map key stakeholders, and tailor your messaging to effectively connect with decision-makers.
You will educate prospects on Wellhub’s mission and value proposition, generate interest, and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team. The role involves overcoming objections, managing expectations, and building trusting relationships with prospects across different organisational levels.
You will collaborate closely with SMB Account Executives to align messaging, share insights, and define strategies for priority accounts. Success in this role includes achieving or exceeding pipeline generation targets and representing Wellhub at industry events and networking opportunities.
You will also act as a source of market and sector knowledge across regions, support the team wherever needed, and actively contribute to a culture that prioritizes collaboration, well-being, and shared success. Prior experience in outbound prospecting is a mandatory requirement for this role.
