Canadore College is seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts to support the development of a new post-graduate Artificial Intelligence Management (AIM) certificate program. This consultancy role focuses on curriculum design rather than technical model development, emphasizing management, governance, strategy, and applied business use of AI.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine course learning outcomes aligned to program and credential standards
- Design structured course outlines suitable for post-graduate certificate delivery
- Create week-by-week curriculum content mapped to defined learning outcomes
- Define learning activities for in-person, synchronous online, hybrid, and asynchronous formats
- Curate current, reputable resources reflecting modern AI management practices
- Design authentic assessments and applied learning activities, including capstone scaffolding
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, information systems, or business
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in AI strategy, governance, applied AI, or digital transformation
- Strong ability to translate complex AI concepts into accessible, learner-focused content
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across technical and business domains
- Availability to complete deliverables over an approximately three-month development window
- Comfort working through iterative review cycles with academic and instructional design teams
