The Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions will lead Cadre Hospice’s inorganic growth strategy and oversee the full lifecycle of acquisition activity. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and supporting the integration of acquisitions that align with Cadre’s mission, financial goals, and commitment to clinical excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the M&A pipeline aligned with enterprise growth priorities.
- Proactively source acquisition opportunities through bankers, founders, and industry networks.
- Lead financial analysis, valuation modeling, and return assessments for potential transactions.
- Own end-to-end due diligence across financial, operational, clinical, regulatory, HR, and IT workstreams.
- Support negotiation and execution of LOIs, definitive agreements, and transaction closings.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to support post-acquisition integration and performance tracking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 8–12+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, private equity, or investment banking.
- Direct experience executing healthcare services transactions.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring expertise.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream diligence processes.
- Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory, reimbursement, and compliance environments.
