Brafton is a global content marketing and consulting firm that helps brands grow through SEO, content strategy, and digital performance marketing. The SEO Consulting role focuses on delivering advanced, client-facing SEO strategy and execution, supporting medium to large brands with technical audits, optimization initiatives, and performance reporting while collaborating closely with internal teams in a fully remote, contract-based environment.

Brafton is seeking an experienced SEO professional to join its Consulting Department in a full-time, remote contractor capacity. This role is focused on delivering high-quality, strategic SEO consulting for clients while translating complex search concepts into clear, actionable recommendations that drive measurable organic growth.

Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive SEO audits, proposals, and performance reports for client engagements.
- Assess website health using industry-standard SEO tools to identify issues and opportunities.
- Execute technical SEO and on-site optimization tasks aligned with defined project scopes.
- Conduct SEO research and optimization for initiatives such as site redesigns, migrations, and backlink projects.
- Analyze performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contribute insights across multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience contributing to or managing SEO programs, ideally in an agency setting.
- Demonstrated success delivering SEO campaigns for medium to large brands, including e-commerce.
- Advanced understanding of technical SEO concepts such as crawling, indexing, site speed, and Core Web Vitals.
- Strong experience with SEO platforms and tools including SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and similar solutions.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as they relate to search performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong project management capability.
