Principal Software Engineer - Integrations

The Principal Software Engineer - Integrations role focuses on designing, migrating, and operating robust integrations between Voyc’s platform and third-party telephony and CRM systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless customer adoption while setting high technical standards.

Voyc is seeking a Principal Software Engineer - Integrations to play a critical technical leadership role in building and operating the integration layer that connects its AI-driven compliance platform with customer systems. This role combines deep hands-on engineering with architectural ownership, migration leadership, and a strong focus on operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and maintain scalable integrations with third-party telephony, communications, and CRM platforms.
- Lead the migration of the existing NodeJS integrations codebase to Python with clear quality and delivery standards.
- Own end-to-end integration delivery from technical discovery through deployment and ongoing improvement.
- Maintain and enhance existing integrations while delivering new ones aligned with product priorities.
- Partner with SRE to improve monitoring, alerting, observability, and integration reliability.
- Drive root-cause analysis and prevent recurring integration incidents through resilient design.

Requirements:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of complex, production systems.
- Deep proficiency in Python and experience delivering production-grade integrations.
- Strong expertise in API-based system integrations, including authentication and versioning.
- Proven experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimising integrations in live environments.
- Experience leading major technical migrations or large-scale refactors.
- Strong technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration skills.
