Cockroach Labs is a leader in distributed cloud database technology, helping enterprises build resilient, scalable applications with CockroachDB. The Regional Sales Director, India is a first-line people leader responsible for leading enterprise sales execution across the region. This role owns pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and team development while working closely with cross-functional partners to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives to drive consistent quota attainment.
- Establish and execute a clear regional go-to-market strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Drive disciplined pipeline management, opportunity inspection, and accurate forecasting.
- Coach account executives through complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
- Engage directly with senior customer stakeholders to elevate deal strategy and trust.
- Partner with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success to accelerate deals.
Requirements:
- 10–12+ years of experience in technology sales within SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure.
- 3–5+ years of experience managing enterprise account executive teams.
- Proven track record of achieving quota as both an individual contributor and leader.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales methodologies and complex deal structures.
- Experience selling to banking, financial services, or digital native organizations.
- Ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing enterprise sales talent.
