The Sr Systems Analyst role supports healthcare IT applications by delivering reliable technical configuration, system analysis, and production support services. Working under the guidance of management, this position collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements, configure applications, and ensure systems meet defined technical and operational standards. The role requires hands-on healthcare IT experience and the ability to support mission-critical systems in a structured, process-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical application solutions for assigned healthcare business areas.
- Collaborate with team members to understand product requirements, configurations, and required fixes.
- Perform application configuration and generate reports based on user requests.
- Provide production support and assist in resolving escalated service desk issues.
- Identify recurring defects, prioritize root causes, and support long-term resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation aligned with standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a systems analyst or in a similar technical role.
- Hands-on experience in healthcare IT environments.
- Working knowledge of programming basics, object-oriented concepts, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
- Experience or knowledge of HL7 standards or integration engines.
- Understanding of healthcare IT systems and workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in shifts.
