Job Description

 

The System Administrator role at Gamingtec supports the company’s continued growth by maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations for distributed teams and offices. This position combines hands-on technical support with infrastructure administration, security enforcement, and continuous documentation to ensure smooth daily operations in a fully remote environment.


Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for employees using Windows, macOS, and Linux systems
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, operating systems, and software
- Process, prioritize, and resolve IT requests through Jira ticketing workflows
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, peripheral, and network-related issues
- Manage equipment lifecycle including inventory, provisioning, and maintenance
- Configure and maintain security tools such as VPNs, antivirus, MDM, and backup systems


Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar technical role
- Hands-on experience administering Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN
- Familiarity with security tools, logging systems, and compliance best practices
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues
- Experience using ticketing systems and maintaining technical documentation
