The position involves building and managing a high-performing sales team, executing regional go-to-market strategies, driving new logo acquisition, and strengthening relationships with key accounts to achieve ambitious bookings and ARR growth targets.

Job Description

 

GitLab is seeking a Regional Director of Sales for META to lead sales strategy and execution across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. This all-remote leadership role is responsible for growing GitLab’s market presence, driving revenue growth, and managing a high-performing team of Account Executives. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional partners and direct engagement with key accounts to expand GitLab’s footprint and ensure consistent customer success.


Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the regional sales plan, enforcing pipeline discipline to achieve quarterly bookings and ARR targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Account Executive team, modeling field-focused sales behaviour.
- Drive new logo acquisition and manage complex accounts, positioning GitLab as a strategic partner.
- Partner with marketing, business development, and local networks to generate pipeline and increase market awareness.
- Implement structured sales processes and methodologies, such as MEDDPICC, to create accountability and repeatability.
- Collaborate with account management, customer success, product, engineering, and operations teams to align coverage and share best practices.
- Maintain executive-level relationships with key accounts, uncovering expansion and renewal opportunities.
- Analyse pipeline, forecast performance, and adjust regional plans to maximise impact and results.


Requirements:
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing regional or multi-country sales teams.
- Ability to design and execute regional go-to-market plans and structured deal execution.
- Familiarity with B2B software sales, open source, and DevSecOps concepts.
- Strong executive-level stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.com and marketing platforms.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, fully remote, growth-focused environment.
- Strong analytical skills, data-informed decision-making, and structured sales process implementation.
