DevSecOps Engineer (Fintech/Stablecoins/Cryptocurrency)

Our client is Africa’s first and largest licensed on and off ramp platform for stablecoins, focused on making digital finance secure, accessible, and easy to understand. This role supports cloud security and DevSecOps operations within a fully cloud-based fintech environment. The position focuses on protecting infrastructure, responding to incidents, and strengthening security monitoring across AWS platforms and business systems.

Our client is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen security operations within a cloud-native fintech environment focused on stablecoin platforms. This role is responsible for protecting AWS infrastructure, monitoring threats, and leading incident response activities while supporting compliance and operational excellence across security systems.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor real-time security alerts across cloud infrastructure and business systems.
- Triage, investigate, and respond to security incidents end to end.
- Support identity and access management requests in a timely manner.
- Build dashboards, reports, KPIs, and metrics for SOC operations.
- Develop and maintain SOC documentation, playbooks, and detection enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve security processes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- AWS Certified Security Specialty certification required.
- Five or more years of AWS cloud security experience.
- Three or more years of SOC and incident response experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of SIEM, EDR, SOAR, WAF, and related security tools.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, threat modeling, and compliance standards.
