This role supports Khazna’s in-house legal function across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. The position focuses on commercial contracting, regulatory filings, and corporate governance while providing hands-on exposure to fintech operations in a fast-growing startup environment.

Job Description

 

Khazna is seeking a Junior Legal Associate to join its in-house legal team and support expanding fintech operations across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. This role offers hands-on exposure to commercial contracts, regulatory matters, and corporate governance within a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.


Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and support negotiations of basic commercial contracts, including NDAs and service agreements.
- Maintain and update bilingual Arabic and English contract templates.
- Support internal contract workflows and coordinate approvals with commercial and operations teams.
- Assist with regulatory filings, licensing documentation, and renewals with relevant authorities.
- Conduct legal research on fintech, consumer finance, and data protection regulations.
- Support corporate housekeeping, document management, and governance activities.


Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law and admission to the Egyptian Bar Association or pending admission.
- 1–2 years of legal experience or strong internship exposure in corporate or fintech-related roles.
- Strong legal drafting and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Solid understanding of general corporate and commercial contract principles.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and task management skills.
- Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
