The Assistant Project Assistant role supports medium-complexity projects by managing coordination, financial controls, and Oracle ERP activities. This position works closely with Project Managers, supports US and Canada stakeholders, and contributes to project delivery excellence within a structured global environment.

Job Description

 

The Assistant Project Assistant role supports effective project delivery by independently managing coordination, financial activities, and system processes across multiple medium-complexity projects. This position works closely with Project Managers and finance teams, contributing to strong project governance, compliance, and financial health within a global delivery model.


Responsibilities:
- Independently support multiple medium-complexity projects across their full lifecycle
- Deliver end-to-end project coordination including setup, execution, changes, and close-out
- Support project financial management and cost control activities
- Manage Oracle ERP tasks such as project setup, workplans, requisitions, purchase orders, and time booking
- Ensure compliance with internal governance standards and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Track risks, actions, and delivery constraints, escalating issues proactively


Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in project coordination, project accounting, or project support roles
- Strong understanding of contract types and project financial principles
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, preferably project and financial modules
- Advanced Excel skills with confidence working with data and numbers
- Clear communication skills and ability to work independently with cross-functional teams
- Experience in shared services or offshore delivery models is an advantage
