First Advantage is seeking a Bilingual Operations Specialist to support Public Records operations in a fully remote role based in Colombia. This position is responsible for verifying professional and personal background information submitted by job applicants, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data security while supporting clients across multiple industries.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct online research related to criminal and public records in accordance with client requirements.
- Perform detailed compliance analysis while meeting defined turnaround times.
- Cross-check applicant-provided information with external and internal data sources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within company systems.
- Perform quality checks and mentor new team members as required.
- Escalate compliance risks or data discrepancies to managers when identified.
Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a call center, BPO, KPO, or fact-checking role.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and sound judgment.
- Typing speed of at least 20 words per minute with 90 percent accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information and follow strict data security policies.
