Medical Senior Financial Analyst

This position partners with finance stakeholders to manage budgets, forecasts, closings, and compliance activities, contributing to informed decision-making and strong financial governance within Sanofi’s Bogotá Hub.

Sanofi is seeking a Medical Senior Financial Analyst to join its Controlling Operations Team in Bogotá. This role provides end-to-end financial controlling support, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and insightful analysis that enables effective business decisions across medical and finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including accruals and journal entries in SAP.
- Manage personnel cost controlling activities, including bonus accrual and true-up processes.
- Prepare balance sheet analyses, account reconciliations, and explanations of financial fluctuations.
- Deliver financial reporting and variance analysis for monthly performance commentary.
- Partner with finance business partners and controllers on spend analysis and commitments tracking.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls while identifying process improvement opportunities.

Requirements:
- More than three years of experience in financial controlling or financial analysis roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Advanced Excel skills with solid knowledge of SAP; TM1 experience is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Proven ability to work with complex financial data and multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced English proficiency for reporting and business communication.
