HarbourVest Partners is seeking a Manager, Human Resources Business Partner to support its growing Bogotá office. This role serves as a key liaison between local employees and the U.S.-based Human Resources team, ensuring effective delivery of HR programs, compliance with local employment practices, and a positive employee experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, offer coordination, and pre-employment checks.
- Administer monthly payroll and act as the primary contact for payroll and timekeeping inquiries.
- Manage day-to-day benefits administration and serve as the main point of contact for employee benefit questions.
- Maintain and update all HR data within Workday, partnering with system experts on enhancements.
- Address employee relations matters by advising managers and employees on appropriate resolutions.
- Support performance management processes and provide guidance throughout review cycles.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of local payroll laws, benefits, and employment regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comfort with HR systems.
