AI Integration Engineer

Vestd is a sharetech SaaS company providing equity management solutions that help businesses, founders, and investors manage share schemes, fundraising, and ownership with fairness and transparency. The AI Integration Engineer role focuses on pioneering AI adoption across Vestd’s products and internal tools by designing, building, and integrating scalable AI-driven services that enhance automation, analytics, and overall business efficiency.

As an AI Integration Engineer at Vestd, you will be the first specialist dedicated to introducing and scaling artificial intelligence across the organisation. Operating within the Special Projects team and reporting directly to the board, you will identify opportunities, experiment with emerging AI technologies, and build production-ready AI services that enhance Vestd’s platform, analytics, and internal workflows.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate third-party AI tools, platforms, and APIs.
- Design and build standalone AI microservices for document analysis, summarisation, and automation.
- Develop scalable AI solutions on AWS, managing infrastructure such as EC2, GPUs, and related services.
- Build lightweight user interfaces to support internal workflows and AI-driven features.
- Maintain clear documentation for AI models, integrations, and operational processes.
- Act as the internal AI subject matter expert, guiding best practices and strategy.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business goals.

Requirements:
- 3–5 years of software development experience with a focus on AI or machine learning.
- Hands-on experience building AI applications such as NLP or computer vision systems.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based AI infrastructure.
- Ability to develop full-stack solutions from data ingestion to user-facing interfaces.
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
