Job Description

 

As a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer at GoDaddy, you will play a key leadership role within the Information Security organization, focusing on securing workforce endpoints and enterprise infrastructure. You will design, implement, and continuously enhance endpoint security technologies and processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance strong security controls with a positive user experience.


Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment, architecture, and optimization of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions across on-premises, cloud, and managed environments.
- Design and improve agent-based and network-based vulnerability management processes.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex endpoint security issues and incidents.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead design reviews, and establish repeatable security processes.
- Drive automation and contribute to internal technology standards and working groups.
- Influence endpoint security strategy, roadmap planning, and cross-team adoption of best practices.


Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in security engineering or security operations roles.
- Proven expertise deploying and managing endpoint protection and vulnerability management tools.
- Strong Linux administration skills with scripting experience in Python and Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking, cloud security, and large-scale service provider environments.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot incidents and conduct post-incident analysis.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
