Nagarro is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer with deep expertise in test automation and quality engineering to lead end-to-end QA initiatives across web and microservices-based applications. This role is responsible for defining QA strategy, designing scalable automation frameworks, and embedding quality practices into Agile and DevOps delivery pipelines. The position works closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end QA activities for web and microservices applications
- Design, build, and maintain reusable and scalable automation frameworks
- Define QA architecture, strategy, standards, and best practices
- Drive Agile and DevOps QA processes within SCRUM and Kanban teams
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release workflows
- Mentor QA engineers and promote continuous improvement across teams
Requirements:
- 10+ years of total experience in quality engineering and test automation
- Strong coding skills in Java with experience in automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Rest Assured or Karate
- Expertise in API, microservices, and end-to-end testing approaches
- Experience with CI/CD tools, cloud platforms, and containerized environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
