Job Description

 

Leadway Pensure PFA Limited is seeking a Legal Officer to support the Legal Adviser and Company Secretary in executing legal, litigation, and company secretariat functions. This role provides hands-on legal and governance support to ensure the organization’s operations, transactions, and governance structures comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements while minimizing legal and litigation risks.


Responsibilities:
- Support the Legal Adviser and Company Secretary in legal, litigation, and company secretariat duties
- Assist in managing the company’s legal framework to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance
- Provide legal support for day-to-day operations, transactions, and internal activities
- Ensure proper safekeeping and management of legal documents and records
- Assist with legal research and provide guidance on corporate governance matters
- Coordinate litigation matters, liaise with external solicitors, and monitor ongoing cases


Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate or commercial legal practice
- First degree in Law (LLB) and qualification as a Barrister of Law (BL)
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal frameworks
- Excellent legal drafting, document review, and research skills
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, rules, and regulations
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills
