This role is part of the Airport IT Development and Platform Enablement team, supporting cloud-based applications used by airports worldwide. The Platform Engineer DevOps is responsible for maintaining, operating, and supporting critical systems hosted on cloud infrastructure, while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence across environments.
Responsibilities:
- Handle platform incidents and service requests for cloud-hosted applications
- Perform regular health checks and monitoring of systems and services
- Execute and support software release and deployment activities
- Automate manual operational and maintenance tasks using scripting and tools
- Propose and implement improvements to existing operational processes
- Maintain and upgrade technologies across the platform ecosystem
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong English communication skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and Java
- Working knowledge of certificates, JBoss, Apache, Elasticsearch, Fluentd, and Grafana
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and ServiceNow
- Experience with vulnerability remediation and security practices
