Lead Software Engineer (Backend)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer (Backend) to build and scale enterprise-grade backend systems for a market-leading fleet and compliance platform. In this role, you will design and deliver secure, high-performance services that power mission-critical products used across the global trucking and logistics industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and help modernize systems that improve safety, productivity, and operational efficiency at scale.

As a Lead Software Engineer (Backend), you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend infrastructure that supports enterprise customers across compliance, fleet, and driver management solutions.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, document, and deliver robust backend services; writing secure, maintainable, and high-quality code; and launching features used at scale across the trucking industry. You will build and maintain monitoring, logging, and debugging systems to ensure platform reliability and performance.
