The Virtual Marketing Assistant role supports the internal Marketing Coordinator by executing fast and accurate administrative, organizational, and short-form content tasks. The position focuses on content support, list qualification, data management, and workflow coordination, ensuring the marketing team can prioritize strategic initiatives while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Description

 

The Virtual Marketing Assistant role at 1840 & Company provides tactical, high-speed support to the internal Marketing Coordinator and broader marketing team. This position focuses on short-form content assistance, CMS uploads, metadata tagging, and maintaining organized content resources. The assistant will also manage outreach lists, validate contact information, remove duplicates, and maintain clean datasets in CRM tools or spreadsheets. Administrative duties include consolidating briefs, coordinating calendars, tracking tasks, and providing clear daily updates. Strong execution, accuracy, and communication are essential while working independently during a focused 4-hour shift aligned with EST hours.


Responsibilities:
- Assist with short-form content writing and content preparation.
- Upload, tag, and organize content assets in CMS platforms.
- Maintain orderly information architecture and resource organization.
- Clean, validate, and standardize outreach lists and contact data.
- Manage CRM or spreadsheet data to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Provide administrative support including calendar organization and task tracking.


Requirements:
- Proven ability to deliver fast, accurate work within tight timelines.
- Strong written English skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with list management, contact validation, and simple content editing.
- Familiarity with CMS workflows, metadata, and file tagging practices.
- Required working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Ability to work independently during a dedicated 4-hour shift.
- Proactive communication and ownership over tasks and outcomes.
